Coping with a COVID Christmas

Hello, Christmas time and families – these two important and respected traditions are strongly linked. Warm memories. Customs and celebrations. There is not a family that does not have them at this festive time of the year. Yet, we know that this Christmas season will be different, and perhaps even difficult, for you and your family because it will be the first one since the death of your loved one. Often such a loss can make the holidays a painful and lonely time. Every Christmas, here at McIntosh-Anderson-Kellam Funeral Home we hold our Annual Community Christmas Memorial Service where families can join together and remember their loved ones. But due to the ongoing pandemic we are unable to gather this year. Instead we have provided a YouTube link (copy and paste the link and enter into your web browser) for you to view Dr. Bill Webster’s video on “Coping with a COVID Christmas”. He will provide helpful hints on how to handle Christmas during these difficult and unusual times. We hope that you find Dr. Bill’s words helpful and find some comfort in them. We wish you and your family all the best during this difficult holiday season. From the staff at McIntosh-Anderson-Kellam Funeral Home. Take care and stay safe.
