(Born in London England, Served with the Royal Marines during WWII, Immigrated to Canada in 1957. Past President of the Toronto Bookbinders Union, Bookbinders Council of Eastern Canada, Canadian Federation of Printing and Communications Unions, Toronto Union Label Council, Executive Vice President Ontario Graphic Communications Union, Vice President Toronto Workers Education Association, and Secretary Treasurer Allied Printing Trades Council. President Graphic Communication Retiree Club, Canadian Council Retirees, Toronto.)
Peacefully at home in Oshawa on Saturday June 3rd, 2017 in his 96th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Peggy in 2005 and his sister Thelma Roche in 2010. Ken will be lovingly remembered by his niece Marilynne Roche (and children Andrew and fiancée Jessica, Christopher and his wife Claudia), his nephew Paul and his wife Rosemary (children Carol and Michael and fiancée Erica and Carols’ children Lily and Gavin.) Also remembered by his stepdaughter Yvonne and her husband Joseph Blain (and children Joseph and wife Erica, Matthew and Sarah), Jason Blain (and son Connor) and Ryan Blain and his wife Alexandra. And his stepson Robert and his wife Lynda Philips (and children Leslie and husband Garth Wichstrom and daughter Claire, Alison and husband Geoff Puley and their children Lauren, Aiden, Benjamin, Ian and Mary and sons Oscar and Beau)
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Ken’s Life on Tuesday June 20th, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. at McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME, 152 King Street East Oshawa (905-433-5558).
