Started work with Bob in GM. His dry sense of humour and hearty laugh made the day seem shorter. It was always a pleasure to have lunch with him when he would join the Local 222 Retirees on our excursion to the Blue Heron. I will miss him.

I was saddened to hear of Bob's passing. My thoughts are with his family. Bob was a one of my friends that I met at the Oshawa Centre (as I worked there) and a few other people that would meet at the mall and all of us have become friends. I nick-named them "My Mall Rats" and Bob was one of My Mall Rats...He will be missed 😢

Doug & Danny and Armitage Family: We were very shocked and saddened to hear the news of Bob's passing. I well remember your Mom & Dad coming back to the farm when Bob was very small. That was so good that he had the trips he enjoyed, and I remember him telling us about his trips to the "Oshawa Centre". Just want all of you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We have not had very good health since last summer, but we are going to try and come down to the funeral if we can. Remembering you All in Prayer, Cousins Marion & Ep.

My condolences to Bob's family. I enjoyed working with Bob at GM; then after retirement, it was a pleasure to chat with him at the Local 222 Retirees functions. He will be missed.
