Patsy and I were Nieghbours to Cedric and Mary when we moved to Oshawa. We quickly became friends and we enjoyed the friendship we grew. Cedric and Mary both have a wonderful sense of humour and always looked forward to chatting with them. I will remember the wonderful stories told by Cedrick especially driving the old trucks he fondly described from when he was young. Recently Cedric and Mary moved to an apartment and had sold their house. I was sadden to see such wonderful neighbors moving away. Our love and prayers are extended to Mary and the rest of the family. It was an honour to have met the family and spend time with the Banks family. Our deepest condolences.

I have known "Uncle" Cedric for my entire life. He and "Auntie" Mary were great friends of my Mother and Father, Janet and Roger Ingall from their times together in Peterborough and throughout the subsequent years. I had the honor of being the flower girl at Mary and Cedric's wedding. Their group of friends "The Bridge Club" met regularly through the years and enjoyed stories, parties and actually played bridge. When it came time to pick the person to give the toast to the bride at my wedding, there was only one choice, Uncle Cedric. As expected, his wonderful, articulate wit was enjoyed by all. He gave an amazing toast.Although we did not see each other much as the years passed, whenever I did have the chance to visit with Uncle Cedric and Auntie Mary, the unbridled love and support from both of them was always a joy. My love and condolences go out to Auntie Mary, Sheila, Catherine and all the family.
