Read in the paper last evening of your Dad and Grandfather’s passing. Gord was a thoughtful sharp minded genuine person. He was full of wisdom and strikingly witty as these skills were used adeptly during work play and family life. Gord provided many great memories for some young hockey players and families including an extremely successful peewee hockey game against boy’s from Ukraine. Will be missed and always remembered.
A wonderful man a great inspiration to his entire family.
    Our thoughts and memories,

    Peter & Judy Pillman
Peter and I were so saddened to hear of your father's passing. We will miss his porch visits as he always came out to say a kind word. He greeted Pete with "and how are you today young man". He was a true gentleman and the neighbourhood will miss him terribly.
Time heals and the sadness and loneliness will lighten but his memory will never be forgotten. When you lose a loved one, they become a memory and that memory becomes a treasure.
Carolyn, Janice, family and of course wee Maggie we extend our deepest sympathy at this time.

    Jeff Tait
    Janice & Carolyn,
So sorry to hear this news I just learned of today. I truly miss his warm heart and personality, and the family vacations we shared for many years in Myrtle Beach S.C. My last memories of him were writing him my memories in a sympathy card upon your Mom's passing, and a good cry we had together in a men's washroom when he'd learned of my Dad's cancer. Janice,I recall you with really long brown hair and my sister Jan with really long blonde hair sitting in our Myrtle Beach hotel room at The Captain's Quarters and you were having fun putting your clip-on earrings on my ears...think they were hoops. I was something like 8 years old, and you guys were probably 18, I guess? Anyway, my thoughts go out to you at this time...and all the emotions and memories just kind of came out of me at the same time. Be well, and deepest condolences.
    Jeff Tait
