Afterglow

My lamp of light is burning low

As time draws near I have to go.

No use to weep, mourn or cry

Because, we are all meant to die.

I’ve lived my life but not in vain,

There is many a thing I’d do again.

Don’t weep for me when I’ve gone,

Just wear a smile and carry on.

    Lori and Family,

I am so heartbroken for your loss. May all the footprints he made carry you all through this difficult time.

Some people come into our lives and quickly go.
Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to
new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom.
Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon.
They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints
on our hearts, and we are never ever the same.

We will miss Gerry with his kind smile and great conversations. I will miss seeing him each week in the halls of the OSCC when he came to play cards. Watching the girls play ball wouldn't have been the same without Gerry and my dad heckling Paul and Dan from the sidelines!
    Our prayers are with you.

My Dad's hands❤️ ... They held me from a young girl, through the years, and to who I grew up to be... I held my amazing dads hands, as he gently left this world. I am thankful for his guidance and the way he always encouraged me. If ever a man gave a girl everything she needed to fly, that man was you.... Dad was always here for all of us, selfless, inspiring and proud. He loved us endlessly .... As you pass into the new heavenly forever Dad, it’s where I will one day see you again. You will be my forever hero, and thank you for always being the man and best Dad that any daughter could cherish and smile about forever.... I love you Daddy❤
